STUDIO NEWS: 4/26/08
The studio has now successfully relocated to Apopka, however I am not accepting new students at this time. We need more time to get the walls painted, interior decorated and things put away in their proper places. So - thank you for your patience and pardon the need for a continued hiatus.
Soprano Soloist in the Orlando area!
Sondra Jones holds both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Ed. She has 17 years teaching experience, as well as experience as a professional singer. Sondra is a lyric soprano with a
wide vocal range and stylistic ability.
She has performed with many groups including:
- The Illinois Opera Theatre at U of I
Sondra instructed as an adjunct voice teacher during spring semester 2006 for Central Florida Community College in Ocala, FL. Currently she is back to teaching for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. Her current assignment is Elementary music.
Sondra holds a Level I Certification in Orff Schulwerk and is also the youth choir director at the Oakland Presbyterian Church in Oakland, FL where she is also a member of Praise Team.
Sondra is a member of The Orlando Chorale where she has recently been featured as a soloist and is part of the Professional Core/Chamber Singers ensemble. Sondra recently sang the soprano solo for The Orlando Chorale's 2005 performance of Handel's Messiah.
